What a fun surprise! My Saturday Five dollar Yoga class regulars, Gail and Kathy, presented me with these two wonderful reminders of Yoga Intention. I feel blessed to have been teaching this donation class for nearly five years as my Seva as a Yoga Teacher. All the monies are presented annually at the Yog Sadhan Ashram where I teach at a week long retreat in Chicago.

My first visit to Monaco was to attend a Pan American World Airways reunion of former employees from around the world. We were welcomed by Prince Albert II!

My very first Yoga Conference was Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 2004. My yoga teacher, Jimmy Barkan, was presenting there and he introduced me to his friend, Beryl Binder Birch, founder of Power Yoga. I took Jimmy's workshop twice and Beryl's too. I also met Ravi Singh and took his Kundalini class. I met some noted local teachers as well. The whole atmosphere was exciting! I felt the embrace of the Canadian Yoga Movement and the energy of the "rock stars" of the yoga world. There was a beautiful demonstration in the Yoga Marketplace of something that looked like Yoga Dance.

One of the Seven Wonders of the Classical World was the Colossus of Rhodes, a gigantic sculpture in the image of Helios erected to tower over the harbor entrance to Rhodes.

Redford says the newly acquired land was an ideal locale for environmental conservation and artistic experimentation. The Sundance Workshop and eventually the Sundance Film Festival emerged from the very landscape that shapes today.

There is an exquisite little shop on the island of Patmos that features local artists...The happy design of this mug ended up as a birthday present to my daughter Stephanie. Patmos, one of the smallest islands of the Dodecanese, is famous for the place that Apostle John was exiled-where he wrote the Book of Revelation.
