Monte Carlo is the home of the Grand Casino and the Hotel de Paris designed by the architect of the Paris Opera House, Charles Garnier. Le Casino or Grand Casino is the world's most glamorous casino. Black tie is no longer required but jacket and tie is a must. Alongside the casino is the world famous Cafe de Paris, where Crepe Suzette was invented. Growing up in Las Vegas, I have seen my fair share of casinos...nothing comes close to the elegance of Monte Carlo Grand Casino. There was a red Ferrari at the entrance when I was there. I had my picture taken with it and sent it off to my daughters with the caption; "A great night at the tables!"
